Julius CornwallJulius Cornwall

Age: 32
Height: 6 feet exactly
Weight: 180 lb
Nickname: Jewels

Personal background: His father, Michael, went from owning a grocery store in Maine to trading stocks, very successfully. Michael married late in life, and shortly thereafter his new wife, Franchesca, produced a squalling redheaded heir. Julius was an only child, and his father was determined to give his son everything he’d never had. Julius was homeschooled, and lonely, before he left for to Phillips Exeter Academy, Harvard, and, after a brief flirtation with science, Harvard Business School. He made friends but was never able to fall into their pattern of easy give and take. He just didn’t know how; he remained a little apart, except with his crew buddies. His father oversaw his school career every step of the way, demanding that Julius push himself just a little harder, get the A+ instead of the A, win at Henley, be nationally ranked in tennis. As a result, Julius is athletic and highly competitive. He is also a compulsive organizer.

Business background: Julius enjoyed the B school because he liked to solve problems, analyze alternatives, isolate variables . Not to mention, he loved to win. When he graduated, at the age of 23, his father held several large parties so all his business associates could meet the crown prince of whom they’d heard so much over the years. Many offers were tendered; James Maxlore’s offered exactly what Julius wanted. He has worked for Maxlore for nine years, five of them as his second in command.
