Sarah
Star Cooper
Age:34
Height:57
Weight:132 lb.
Nickname: Star
The beautiful daughter of a senator, Star hosts a daily TV talk show,
one of many projects produced by her public relations firm.
Personal background: She grew up in a high-powered environment.
Meeting famous people was nothing special to her; it was part of the
wallpaper of being a senator's daughter. Independent to the core, she
can well afford to have her own opinions.
Business background: When she was 18, James Maxlore, a family
acquaintance, offered Star a job as a public relations consultant. Instead,
Star started her own firm, The Whole Truth. Maxlore Industries was,
and is, her primary client.
From the beginning, Star took to public relations. The years at her
parents' dinner table had served her well. Not only did she have a sense
of where the government was headed, she also had the curiousity and
impartial view of the born journalist. She enjoyedthe danger of a public
relations crisis, when nothing but her quick thinking and understanding
of how people worked kept Maxlore Industries out of trouble.
Star's talk show is an extension of her personality. It runs from 3
to 3:30 in the afternoon, every week day, on national TV. She doesn't
have the deep neediness of Oprah; she doesn't have the impertinence
of Barbara Walters. She respects her guests. She always does her best
to have guest stars seen in the best possible light, and they show their
appreciation by returning whenever asked.
